My source for Sinobambusa intermedia says the parent plant is flowering, mine is not yet

Here in my garden, I've pleoiblastus pumilus which are flowering for third time in 12 mounths !!! It's quite death.
I've eared in the forum about pleioblastus distichus, it is also usual.
I've just read something about spectabilis, but as there is no pic and the boy seems to be not sure, we've to wait for more information.
Certainly, there are others flowering but I've no more information, or I forgot it
